I was updating my Linked-In connections and Tim's name came up. Since many of my friends don't subscribe to Linked-In, I decided to look him up and see whether he was enrolled.
You can imagine my dismay at discovering that he is no longer with us. I met Tim through the Christian Music Association, of which I was a member during the 1990s. He was a great guy and an awesome bassist. I remember the CMA Worship Team with fondness and admiration.
I was saddened when Tim told me of George Garris's untimely passing a few years before his own. As my old friends depart this world for the one to come, I am reminded that we are but sojourners in a foreign land. Glad will be our reunion at the end of all things!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found this as I was cleaning my desk and found his business card. He did electrical work for me at my property in Clairemont. Such a nice man.

He loved Jesus and his family and friends.
It was a Joy to know him and he will be missed so much.
