DAVID A. LYNCH Obituary
LYNCH, DAVID A. Dave Lynch passed away on Jan. 4, 2013, after a heroic struggle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his beloved wife Gloria; loving children Amy (Rob) Pike and granddaughter Carson, Ryan (Stacy), and Jenny; sisters Mary (Don) Romano, Kate (Dennis) Leahy, Nellie (John) Patterson; stepchildren Tommy Hinzo (Shannon), Andrea Hinzo, Richard Hinzo, Tayler Casey, and many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Chicago, IL, Dave was a college athlete at Xavier University in Cincinnati, and graduated with a Master's in Education. After a 30-year career in teaching and coaching in Tucson, AZ, Dave moved to Chula Vista where he married Gloria Hinzo Lynch. He continued teaching at Holy Trinity, Sweetwater High School District, and at Southwestern College. Vigil on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita, CA, and Funeral Mass on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 9:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima in Chula Vista, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to summit4stemcell.org
