Duane Morris Anderson Obituary
Video Memory
Anderson, Duane Morris ESCONDIDO -- Duane Morris Anderson, 77, was born on March 27, 1937 in Lake Wilson, Minnesota and passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, due to complications of Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia (CLL). Duane is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene, daughter Lanette, and son Craig. He is also survived by Craig's wife Mandy, his beloved grandchildren Connor (14), Evan (12), Carlie (11), Maegin (10), and his pup Winston (7). In addition, he is survived by his brother Charles Anderson and wife Donna of Phoenix, AZ, and numerous extended family members and countless friends. Duane was a deeply spiritual man and an amazingly wonderful husband, dad, papa, caregiver and friend. He enjoyed unconditionally loving his children, grand- children, family, friends, and everyone he came in contact with. He loved life and his legacy will live on forever. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses and anonymous blood and platelet donors who continually give to the San Diego Blood Bank and provided him and everyone who loved him extra time at the end of his journey. It truly was a Gift of Life and gifted us several precious days before he went to be with the Lord. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. at Greenwood Mortuary located at 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Woodland Park Middle School located at 1270 Rock Springs Road, San Marcos, CA 92069.
