Kinney, Frances VISTA -- Frances Kinney, born February 07, 1923 in Thorp, Wisconsin, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at her home in Vista, CA. The oldest of 14 children, she is survived by three sisters: Amelia Bayer of Lake Geneva WI, Bernadine Ruskin of Anchorage, Alaska, and Geraldine Teyssier of La Jolla. For 25 years, she taught Christian Doctrine to those with special needs as well as being a Eucharistic Minister taking communion to the homebound. She made at least a hundred baby blankets for birth choice, besides, for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fran was a gentle spirit who touched the hearts of all. She was so loved, a true testament to a life well lived. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, April 24 from 5 to 8 PM at Allen Brothers Mortuary, 1315 So. Santa Fe Avenue, in Vista, where a Vigil Service will be offered at 7 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 525 W. Vista Way, Vista, CA.
