The best professor in American Indiand department at at SDSU. Great mentor and friend. I miss her laughter and friendship. Her leadership stoop alone at SDSU. Her vacance has shown her greatness. A great friend. Love you Dr. Parker,Linda.

I just saw this mentioned on the ORU Facebook page.
Linda and I went to college together at Oral Roberts University. We were good friends all through school, but had not seen each other since. Still, we'll miss you Linda, for a while. See you in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. Sadly we never ever saw each after college (Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK), although we did speak on the phone on a few occasions, but I have fond memories of her at ORU. We roomed together our junior year. To Marc and her daughters and to her sister Wanda, I send my belated condolences. I am sorry for your loss. May God comfort your hearts.

Dearest Linda,
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you terribly. The ladies at Super Nail were sad to hear of your passing, some even cried. The thank you gifts from Mark, Sam and Laura are displayed across the living room mantle. I feel so blessed to have them. It's taken me a really long time to make an entry here. Later on I will try to express what your friendship has meant to me. Just know you changed my life for the better in so many ways, and I am eternally grateful for having the opportunity to have been your friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss Marc, Laura and Sam. Linda was a truly kind-hearted, gentle and gracious lady. I'm so glad I had the chance to know and work with her, and to have her as a friend. The American Indian Studies dept will not be the same without her, but I know her memory will live on here in the department she helped build. My sincere condolences.

After returning to school after many years, within the first two weeks my Dad passed away. Linda was so instrumental in my success that at my graduation appreciation dinner I honored with with a certificate! Without her in my life I would not have graduated in 2012 (SDSU) with a Bachelor's degree in American Indian Studies and a minor in Child and Family Development. We kept contact over the past few years, always saying we missed one another and we would get together. I regret we never did. There is no one other person who I admire and appreciate more than Linda for her dedication to her students. I love Linda and will always remember everything she did for me. RIP my dear friend and mentor!
