Lorraine B. Rogers, 94, of Williamsburg, passed away April 23, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles O. Rogers; son, Charles (Tim) Rogers; brother, Elmer Benson; and sisters, Marguerite B. Kinde and Mildred B. Bryan.
Lorraine was a compassionate and skilled registered nurse, formerly employed by Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond and the Williamsburg Community Hospital. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. She is survived by three daughters: Dianne Swarts and her husband, Steve of Houston; Linda Miller and her husband, Eddie, of Williamsburg; and Charlotte Rogers of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 7479 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine's memory to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Kitchen Renovation Fund, or the Johnston-Willis School of Nursing Alumnae Association, 1401 Johnston-Willis Dr, North Chesterfield, Va., 23235-4730.

I was so sorry to read this. Not only was she a wonderful woman, but a great friend and neighbor to my Mom (Ruth Kane). Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
