Julia Ann Hughes, widow of Dr. George S. Hughes of CT, died peacefully at 92, Aug. 29th, at Patriots Colony, Williamsburg VA. Born in Indianapolis in 1921, she lived all her adult life in Darien, CT until joining her daughter in Williamsburg in 2005. Julie is survived by her daughter Christina Tugeau, and husband William, of Williamsburg VA; son Dr. Steve A. Hughes of Boston MA; and son John G. Hughes and wife Linda of Portland Oregon. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren taking the family into the future. She will be missed by all. There will be a family memorial service at the family grave site in New Haven Ct. in mid-October.
