Anthony Aldon "Tony" Nisich

WILLIAMSBURG - Anthony Aldon "Tony" Nisich, 44, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his home in Lanexa, VA, from an apparent heart attack. Tony was a graduate of Lafayette High School, Thomas Nelson Community College, Christopher Newport College, and the Appalachian School of Law. He was admitted to the Virginia State Bar, April 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Nisich, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Aldon and Gladys Whitt Rowe; paternal grandparents, Anthony J. Nisich and Eleanor Lunch; uncles, Jim, Garry, and Ronnie Rowe; cousins, Randy Keene, Scott Hale and Penny Rowe Baldwin. He leaves behind his mother, Judy Rowe Nisich; brother and sister-in-law, Don Camille Nisich and their two children, Wyatt and Tess Nisich; his aunt, whom he considered his "second mother", Gerri Hale; aunts, Evelyn Rowe and Jean Rowe; cousins, Junior Rowe (Kathy), Joann Duncan (Phil), Chris Rowe (Phoebe), Gerald Toby Hale (Susan), Gary Wayne Rowe, and Tammy Miller (Rex). Tony was an avid fisherman and thought fishing was the greatest leisure activity ever invented, but the catch and release was his practice. He remained a Boston Red Sox fan all of his life. Visitation in Williamsburg, will be on Wednesday, May 21 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., from 6-8pm. Visitation for South West VA family and friends, will be on Thursday, May 22, at Honaker Funeral Home, 4686 Redbud Hwy., Honaker, VA, from 6-8pm.
