Concetta Angelina Boschetto, 91, of Williamsburg, passed away at Morningside Assisted Living on Feb. 16, 2013.
Connie was born April 11, 1921 in Staten Island, N.Y. where she lived and worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, golfing, and could often be found outside enjoying the sun.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dante Boschetto; her parents, Clement and Josephine Merola; brothers Tom and Mike Merola; sisters Margaret Fumando and Marie Merola; and special niece, Kelly Rafferty. She is survived by her only daughter, Diane Mule', son-in-law, Charlie and brother, Jim Merola.
Connie was a warm, loving, generous grandmother to Laurie Ray and husband, Chris, and Amy Stout and husband, Chris, and loving great-grandmother to Emerson Ray and Olivia Stout. She was also a very special aunt to Donna Rothandler, Kelly and Shannon Rafferty, Dawn Kulpa, and Vincent and Joseph Merola and other loving nieces and nephews.
Connie will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and her warm, friendly smile, especially her Morningside family.
The family is very grateful to the staff at Morningside Assisted Living and Community Hospice for the kindness and compassion they showed during this time.
