Cynthia F. Wallace

Mrs. Cynthia F. Wallace, 81, peacefully departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at James River Convalescent Center.
Cynthia was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, 727 Scotland Street. She was the wife of the late James Wallace, Sr. She was formerly employed with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation with fifteen years of dedicated service.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughters, Selena E. Stoutingberg and Audrey W. Christian (Donald M.); her son, James Wallace, Jr. (Dorothy); her cousins, Maxine Fleming and Robert Ferguson; a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, in First Baptist Church Scotland Street, Williamsburg, Virginia, with Dr. Reginald F. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens, Hampton, Virginia. Family and friends will assemble at 418 Pocahontas Street by 10:00 a.m., on Saturday. Mrs. Wallace may be viewed in the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday (tonight).
