Evelyn Joyce Lucas, 71, of Williamsburg passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 with her loving family by her side. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Albert S. Lucas Sr. and her parents, Thurman J. and Eula B. Adams.
She was a resident of Williamsburg for 48 years. Joyce was born in Elm City, NC. She retired from Eastern State Hospital with over 30 years of service.
Joyce is survived by her son, Steve (Karen); daughters, Bonnie Mines and Aleta Fetty; three grandchildren, Derek, Luke and Katie; two great-grandchildren; Brianna and Madison Skye.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
