Marian Kelley

Marian E. Kelley died Sunday, Oct.16, 2011, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. Her life began on December 25, 1929. She was the third daughter born to the late Elizabeth and Nathaniel Whitby, of Williamsburg.
Early in life, she joined St. John Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Bruton Heights School. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Harvey E. "Fuzzy" Kelley, Sr.; her children, Katrina Wallace (Sherman), Harvey Kelley, Jr. and Renalda Cooke (Kevin, Sr.); her six grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law and her brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service, celebrating the life she lived, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. in St. John Baptist Church, 1397 Penniman Road, with the Rev. Walter Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 106 Oakmont Circle by 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Mrs. Kelley may be viewed in the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m.
