Virginia ""Ginny"" Williams, 91, of Williamsburg, and formerly of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away on September 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Cook Williams and her son, Douglas Scott Ramsey.
Ginny started in the aerospace field in 1955 and quickly advanced to executive secretary of divisions' VPs' in Rockwell International. She became well acquainted with such astronauts as Neil Armstrong, Gus Grissom Apollo I, Jack Swigert Apollo 13, and Gene Cernan Apollo 17. She was deeply devoted to her family and to her Church. In her spare time, she loved golfing.
She will be missed by many.
Ginny is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane Ramsey Donovan and Thomas Donovan; sister, Barbara Underhill; a niece and nephew, 12 granddaughters, 37 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2017 Newman Road in Williamsburg. Private interment will be held in California.
