Allen Ruskey Obituary
He was born in Hampton and had been a resident of Grafton for 30 years before moving to Williamsburg 5 years ago. He was a 1958 graduate of Hampton High School and retired as a quality analyst with Newport News Shipyard in 1984, after 22 years of service. He attended Williamsburg Community Chapel. He was an avid sailor, and enjoyed sailing with his friend Jim Brewer.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cecelia Ruskey; his nephews, Stephen Phillips and his wife, Ann, of Genton, Ga., Stewart Phillips and his wife, Rachel, of Lynchburg, Shawn Phillips and his wife, Alicia, of Madison Heights, and Shannon Phillips and his wife, Teresa, of Concord, N.C.; and 11 great- nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 23, in Peninsula Memorial Park with the Rev. Milton Hines officiating.
Memorials may be made to Williamsburg Community Chapel, 3899 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg VA 23185.

Cecilia, as you may recall Allen ( always AE to me ) and I grew up together on Blair Ave. We missed out on a lot of years after but we will catch up later. I wish you and your family a lot of comfort in knowing he's on a wonderful journey.

Allen and I attended the same church as children. He was in my government class at Hampton High School. He was always kind and pleasant. I extend my sincere sympathy.
