William Innes Watson, Jr., 85, of Williamsburg, passed away April 28, 2013.

A Dallas native and Southern Methodist University graduate, Will was a Virginia resident for more than 50 years, retiring from NASA after 33 years as an electrical engineer. An avid lover of outdoor sports, he especially enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and bird watching.
Will is survived by Ardeth Watson, his wife of 32 years; daughters Sarah O'Connor of Oakton and Lisa Rollins (Glenn) of Chadds Ford, Pa from his marriage to Donna Gammill Watson; his stepson, Mark Cruciani (Mia), his stepdaughter Susie Baier (Tim), stepson Patrick Cruciani; and grandchildren Tim O'Connor, Jack Rollins, Jessa Baier, Landon Baier and Tim Baier.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 2 by Rev. Milford C. Rollins at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. The Kingsmill Choraliers and Katie Wilson will provide musical selections.
