Agnes Goodison, 91, passed away on July 29, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Poland and came to the United States as a young child. She was a working mother all of her life, as a secretary at her children's school, at Montgomery Wards in NYC and finally retiring from a position working for airline pilots at Kennedy Airport. During this time she moonlighted as a caterer for many years.

She retired to Williamsburg and continued catering for a few years before cooking for the priests of the St. Bede Parish ("her boys") for 11 years until she was almost 80.
She is survived by her children, Jim (Honey), David (Maria), Cathy, Patricia (Richard), Sue (Jean Francois); grandchildren, Kim (Andy), Melissa, Stacey, Sean, Stefanie, Mark, John, Rebecca, Corinne; one great-grandson, Kyle; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 9, at 3 p.m. at St. Bede Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity,
