Debra Huskins Iversen, 58, died with her loving family at her side on April 8, 2012, at her home in Williamsburg. She was born on May 30, 1953, in Erwin, Tenn., and had made Williamsburg her home for the last 48 years.
Debra co-owned Saving Face Day Spa in Toano. She was a master esthetician and yoga teacher and had a knack for helping people feel good about themselves. Debra loved animals. She served on the board of the Williamsburg SPCA for 5 years, worked at Godspeed and Noah's Ark veterinary hospitals, and later owned Critter Sitters pet sitting services.
Debra is survived by her husband, Bob; her son, Saul; her father, Earl; her sister, Faye; her nieces and nephews; her close friends, Rebecca and Tammy; and her pets, Jacob and Coal. Preceding her in death were her mother, Nellie, and her brother, Earl Jr.
A memorial service will be held at Bucktrout Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.
