Don Morton Robinson, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Don was born on September 9, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the University of Georgia. Don proudly served in the United States Marines and retired from N.A.S.A.'s Langley Research Center where he was an optical engineer. He was an avid and accomplished golfer and athlete.
He is survived by his loving wife Martha Pharr Robinson; his daughters, Christine Robinson Verfurth and husband Francis Theodore Verfurth of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Karen Robinson Dickman and husband Eric McCord Dickman of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren Benjamin Robinson Verfurth and Elise Regan Verfurth of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and sisters Candace Smith of California and Suellen Sellmeyer of Iowa.
A reception celebrating Don's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Two Rivers Country Club in Governor's Land in Williamsburg, Virginia.
