Doris Edna Padgett Noble passed away peacefully at her home on December 13, 2013. Doris was born on August 15, 1929 in Savannah, GA. She resided most of her life in Tampa, FL where she raised her three children and had a nursing career. Upon retirement she moved to the mountains of Franklin, NC and later moved to Williamsburg, VA to be close to family. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Noble; her son, James E. Boggs; her parents; and two brothers. She is survived by her son, David W. (Angela C.) Boggs of Lanexa, VA, and her daughter, Marsha A. (Joseph T.) Mahoney of Bell, FL; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Doris was a member of the Smith Memorial Baptist Church; she enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the local community center. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Hudson, FL.
