Helen W. Kopp, 96, of Williamsburg passed away on April 21, 2012.

Born in Chicago, Ill., on April 16, 1916, Helen was the daughter of Frank and Katharine Wolek and older sister to Virginia Mestek, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Edward Kopp III; daughter-in-law, Judith Kopp; two grandchildren, Todd Smith and Amy Lyles; niece, Karen Schmeling (Mestek); nephew, Gerald Mestek; and other relatives and friends, all of whom loved her very much.
Helen spent 85 years in the Chicago, Ill., area before moving to join her family in Williamsburg. She retired from Allstate Insurance, where she worked for many years in the corporate IT department. In retirement, Helen volunteered and was active at the local senior center. She also enjoyed traveling to foreign countries, music and gardening.
Her family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at Spring Arbor and Hospice Community Care, who took great care of Helen in her final days.
