Ila Mae Stewart

WEST POINT - Ila Mae "Mickey" Stewart went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2017. Mickey was 98 years old and grew up in James City County. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa Va. Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Stewart, Sr.; son, Frederick, Jr.; daughters, Alice Faye and Betty Stewart Pettengill. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Stewart McClure; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Monroe Clayton; sisters, Martha Clayton Sherrod and Mary Ann Clayton Goodwyn; and many other family members. A funeral service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 15th at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, VA. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 15810 Liberty Church Road, Lanexa, VA 23089.
