James J. Fisher, 89, of Williamsburg died on Feb. 13, 2013. A loving father and husband, he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. James proudly served in the Marines during World War II. He retired after 35 years of service as a supervisor with Gulf Oil Company. An avid skier and ski instructor, James also enjoyed golf. He was a member of St. Bede Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary; two sons, Robert Fisher and his wife, Wakaba Tasaka, and Barry Fisher and his wife, Elke Fisher; a daughter, Patricia Bercowetz; and five grandchildren, Keely, Kiel, Catrina, Cooper, and Jesse.
A Mass will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 9 a.m. at St. Bede Roman Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg. Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nelsencares.com
