Madeline Anne Millican, 59, of Fairfax passed away peacefully Oct. 11, 2012 after a short battle with cancer.

She was employed as an Administrative Assistant by the Fairfax County Government in the Alcohol Safety Action Program organization.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharron and Thomas Ridpath of Williamsburg; sister, Carolyn Curry of Fredericksburg; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Patricia Millican of Fairfax Station in addition to many nieces and nephews in Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Texas.
She was born March 30, 1953 in Fort Belvoir, VA to the late Lt. Col Arnie Millican and Etoyle Millican. She grew up in Annandale and Fairfax, attending W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax. Her interests included exercise, movies and spending time with friends and families. She loved Williamsburg and always planned to retire here.
Funeral services will be handled by Bucktrout Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Williamsburg Memorial Park. I lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
