Dear Paul,
Marti and I send our heartfelt condolences and prayers. Although I had only met Nancy a few times, I was always struck by her stunning beauty and genteel demeanor. Easy to understand how you fell in love with her, the wonderful life you had together, and the dreams you both fulfilled. The images in the collage and those of her art work beautifully bring this out. Maybe above all, I admired and respected the part of her life as the Colonel's wife and what that meant: the fearful and painful separations, the family challenges, leadership responsibilities, and the true dedication and service to our great Nation that often went unrecognized except to those who saw it first hand and understood its importance. As a past leader of enlisted Air Force Weather men and women, I can speak for them and offer our eternal gratitude. May she rest in God's Peace. Tony and Marti Ramirez
