Thomas Wood Cobbledick of Greenwood died at home Feb. 10, 2013. Tom was born Nov. 10, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph and Thelma Cobbledick. Always quick with a smile or a joke, Tom was a great husband, father, and friend and took great joy and pride in his wife, Betsy, his girls, his eight grandchildren and his Newfoundland, Molly.

After graduation from Miami University, Tom proudly served in the Army for two years. While he made his career in sales and marketing, his true passion was his family. Tom was known for his devilish sense of humor and always entertained his family with games and mischief.
Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Elliott Cobbledick; his daughters, Nancy Butts, Mary Ann Bennett, Julia Bill, and Cory Springer; his sister, Jeanne Howard; and grandchildren, David, Evan, Sarah, Cory Lynne, Michael, Andrew, Alex and Charles.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at Veritas Vineyard in Afton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org
