Ray Adams Obituary
Ray Adams, 70, of James City County, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. He was a native of Bailey, N.C. Ray retired after 31 years of service as an AV technician with Colonial Williamsburg. He was a charter member of Wellspring United Methodist Church. Ray proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a Little League baseball and football coach for over 20 years.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Vicki R. Adams; son, Scott Adams; grandchildren, Gabby Adams and Matthew Adams; brother, Ronnie Adams (Nancy); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. at Williamsburg Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105; or Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg VA 23188.
