She was an incredible lady and mother to her children and her 12 grandchildren. Helen was artistic and loved nature and reading, passions she shared with her children. Her one-of-a-kind birthday cakes for each of them will always be remembered fondly.
She spent her summers at Lake Gaston, Va. with her husband of 66 years enjoying her children's and grandchildren's many visits. For the past two years Helen lived with her daughter, Barbara, in Williamsburg, where she enjoyed an immensely rich life under Barbara's loving care for which her siblings are eternally grateful.
A special thank you goes to Marilynn Williams of Home Instead Senior Care for her kindness and care of Mom during Barbara's working hours. Her children also wish to thank Respite Care of Williamsburg, where Helen spent many enriching and happy hours.
