To know him was to truly love him and know you were a part of a real family. Even though the miles kept us apart, he was the most loving of Grandfathers to Rebecca Ann and we all loved him dearly. He will forever be in our hearts and a huge part of our lives.

Mr. Ybarra, we would think of him often. In 1972, when I was at Faulk he was my teacher. After school, he would bring us fresh, hot, and delicious pan de dulce from Raya bakery, the molletes were so fresh they'd melt in our mouths. The first time I ever ate at a What-a-Burger was when Mr. Ybarra took several of us there in the back of his truck, it was on Palm Blvd. He made class fun and interesting telling us stories about his life and teaching us important life lessons. He was a great teacher and mentor. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family.
