Bettye Finch Obituary
Bettye J. Finch, age 85 passed away on Saturday May 30, 2009.
Bettye grew up in Golden Colorado and enjoyed the great outdoors. She loved horseback riding and had wonderful memories of Colorado. She always referred to it as ``Gods Country''. Bettye was spiritually ready for eternal life and was at peace and was excited to start her eternal journey. Her children and Grandchildren were blessed by her life and her commitment to their physical and spiritual well being. Bettye was a great Mother and a wonderful wife to her husband George W. Finch who preceded her in death and was waiting for her with open arms at Heaven's Gates.
She is survived by her Daughter; Candy (Glen) Divin of Harlingen, Sons; Mike (Debbie) Finch of Harlingen, George ``Buddy'' W (Debby) Finch Jr. of Bayview, Bruce W.(Yohanna) Finch of Austin, Jack G. (Sheila) Finch of Fairbanks, Alaska, Danny Finch of Houston, daughter; Judy Lynn McMath of Charlotte, N.C., twenty Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
Her pallbearers will be her grandsons; Travis Finch of New Braunsfels, Chad Beckner of Arroyo City, Micah Finch of Austin and Terry Finch of Ketchikan, Alaska. Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Divin, Gabriel Finch, Jason Finch, Kris Finch and Great-grandson, Caden Finch
Visitation will be on Tuesday June 2nd 2009 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be on Wednesday June 3rd 2009 at 3:00 P.M. also at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery at San Benito, Texas.
Arrangements are under direction of San Benito Funeral Home.
