Stuart H. "Mack" McIntyre 90 yrs, went to be with Lord March 16, 2011. Born June 30, 1920 in Ware, Mass. to Karl and Muriel McIntyre.
Stuart is preceded in death by his parents Karl and Muriel McIntyre, his wife Florence McIntyre, son, Ralph McIntyre, sister, Muriel Scarborough and brother, Charles McIntyre,
Stuart is survived by his children, Carol (Bill) Allison of New Mexico, Mikki (JD) Waddle of Louisiana, Deni (Kenneth) Krantz of New York, Jack (Joyce) McIntyre of New York, Brothers, Robert (Frances) McIntyre of North Carolina, Scott (Barbara) McIntyre of Oregon, Sisters, Jean McIntyre of Florida, Peggy (+Don) Wallis of Washington, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, also surviving which Stuart considered as family are Mary S. Campos and Conan Campos of Primera.
Stuart enjoyed working in the yard and keeping active. Stuart will join his dear friend Pedro (Pepe) Campos which he met in 1972.
Special Thanks to Cima Hospice, Angelcare Acres and Staff for Stuart's care, Dr. Homero Aguilar, Dr. Indal Suedeal, a very special Thanks to Clair Schulle a longtime friend.
Stuart proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired after 21 years of service and was honorably discharged.
As per his wishes he was cremated and his remains will be laid to rest at the Rio Grande Valley State Veteran Cemetery in Mission, TX with full military honors on Monday March 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave., Harlingen, Texas
