HARLINGEN, TX. --
Rachel A. Cisneros, 83 of Harlingen, TX passed away peacefully Friday , June 6, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her brother Harry Adams. She was a devout Catholic, Member and past District Chairman of Pan American Round Table, she enjoyed Bible Studies and was a member of the Social Group Birthday Club. Rachel was a world traveler and visited many places including Europe, South America and Central America.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years Ralph "Tito" Cisneros; son Ralph A. Cisneros; a sister Margaret Adams Cabrera; and a brother Alfred (Norma) Adams.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Rudy Garza Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, June 9, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow at Ashland Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Campos, Frank Longoria, Randy Whittington, Robert Adams, Tony Aguilar and Joe Cardenas.
The family would like to give special thanks to Rachel's sister Margaret Cabera for her loving care she gave to Rachel. Special thanks also to Sunshine Haven and to Gentiva Hospice.
