HARLINGEN, TX. -
Joe F. Curry, 89, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Joe was born December 25, 1924 in Goodwater, OK to Lee and Grace Curry. He was married to Imo Jean Curry on September 1, 1942, whom preceded him in death on March 3, 2014. They had 68 wonderful years of marriage where one went the other was right by the other one's side.
Joe was a career military man, first serving in the US Army and later in the US Air Force. He retired from the US Air Force after over 20 years of service as a Master SGT.
Joe is survived by son Alan Curry; granddaughter, Lisa Dunn (Tom); grandson, Joe Hall (Dawn) and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death also by a daughter, Cheryl Curry.
No local services will be held.
