Enriqueta (Keta) Rendon Obituary
Enriqueta
(Keta) Rendon
HARLINGEN, TX.-
Enriqueta (Keta) Rendon, 67 of Harlingen, TX entered the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
She was very kind and caring, often putting the needs of others before her own. She was very well loved and will be missed dearly. ``Keta' loved talking on the phone with family and friends and was a great listener. She also loved to sing and dance along to her favorite country and gospel music.
She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and encouraged their many talents. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Church and had a very strong relationship with God, which she instilled upon her family.
Although we may have lost a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, relative and a dear friend here on Earth, we now have a beautiful Guardian Angel watching over us from Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her parents Josefina and Santos Benavidez; brothers Reymundo and Marcello Benavidez.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years Frank Rendon; daughters Ada Rendon, Yvonne ``Bonnie' (Jaime) Vitela and Amanda (Tim) Rifenburgh, whom she loved as a daughter; grandchildren Adrian, Anissa and Aliana; sisters Ofelia Castillo, Carmen Cano, Gracie (Augustin) Vasquez and Mollie (Daniel) Armes; brothers Eduardo (Sherry) Benavidez, Santos Bena-videz and Eliseo Benavidez; numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
