SIMI VALLEY, CA. - Marjory Luise Johnson Hatfield of Simi Valley, California left the bonds of this earth following a 7 year battle with churg-strauss syndrome of February 27, 2013 at the age of 44 at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital.
Marjory was born on January 29, 1969 at Tachikawa Air Force Base Japan. She moved to Harlingen, Texas as a young child with her family. She graduated from the University Preparatory School and attended Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Timothy Hatfield, her children Savannah Leann Hatfield, Abigail Rae Hatfield of Simi Valley, California and John Joseph Pankhurst of Spring, Texas. Her parents Johnny & Susan Johnson of Harlingen, Texas and her sister Deidrea Johnson Kiesling and brother in law Russell Kiesling of Pearland, Texas.
Marjory's greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife and best friend to her husband and a loving and supportive mother to her three children. Marjory took great pride in being ``Aunt Margie' to Chloe Paige, Collette Marjory and Russell Jr. Kiesling. Her joy, laughter and her continual positive attitude and perseverance through her illness were an inspiration to everyone. She was a passionate Disney ``devotee' and many fond family memories were captured at Disneyland and Disney World.
A celebration of Marjory's life will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Harlingen, Texas on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Officiating at the service will be the Rt. Rev. David M. Reed and the Rev. Scott Brown.
A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall at the church.A memorial will also be held in Simi Valley, California on Sunday March 10, 2013.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 1417 E. Austin, Harlingen, TX 78550.
