Mark Robert Eradus April 1966-February 2014 A special person, gone too soon. . It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Robert Eradus at the young age of 47 years old. Predeceased by his Mom Dorothy, he leaves behind his beloved daughter Merena, his father Andy (Allison), brothers Shane, Robbie (Lori), sister Cori (Mike), nephew Andrew, and many Aunts & Uncles and extended family who will miss him immensely. As well there were some very dear friends who were very close with him, especially when he needed it the most, thank you Tom & Pete. Mark was exceptional by virtue of his simple and straightforward life choices and the character which drove them. These great characteristics propelled Mark through childhood right into adulthood. They aided him through his difficulties as a student, all his physical challenges he faced throughout his life and gave him the ability to achieve a very successful career as an adult. Mark had a gift to be able to push through & never quit. He was determined and untiring in his quests. During his high school years Mark found a passion in woodworking and a teacher who believed in him and guided him. Mark had a very successful and rewarding career in woodworking, where he achieved his journeyman certificate amongst other accolades. Sadly, he would have to give up his work early-on as his body began to fail him and the job took too much of a physical toll on him. Mark's proudest moment would have to be the birth of his beautiful daughter Merena. She was and still is the light of his life. We know he will forever be watching over her and guiding her from above. Mark, you left this world too soon. Our hearts ache with sorrow. But you are free now. Free of pain. Free of loneliness. Free of sadness. Free now to be with your Mom. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Saturday April 5th, 2014 at The Hurricane Grill, 999 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, B.C., from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, Mark would want you to go out and enjoy yourself. Go have some drinks, laugh…out loud, exuberantly and contagiously and remember this exceptionally special person.
