Sarita was born in Fiji and was educated in Australia. After she was married to Shiri, they moved to England and later immigrated to Canada in 1964. After driving across Canada from Montreal the family lived on the North Shore and later made their family home in Langley in the late seventies. Sarita loved welcoming and entertaining friends and family to her home. With Shiri she encouraged her children to achieve their personal goals, as family was her first priority. She loved travelling with her family and friends. From a very young age, music was a large part of her life, with a passion for singing, playing the piano and various other instruments. She actively participated in her church, playing piano, singing in the choir and serving on the board of her church.
A memorial service celebrating Sarita's life will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at the Aldergrove Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2:00 pm. (26245- 28th avenue, Aldergrove). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Aldergrove Seventh Day Adventist Church Acts of Kindness Fund in Sarita's memory. (www.aok.aldergrove.org)
