Violet May Alexander passed away on August 14, 2013 at the age of 98. Over thirty years of memories are shared by her family since she came West from her home in London, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Alexander and younger son Fred Alexander, she is lovingly remembered by son Jack Alexander of Victoria, (Elsie), daughter Jane Ford of Sechelt, (Bruce), and daughter in law Beatrice Alexander, of Ladner. She was adored by her grandchildren, Heather, Cheryl, Susan, Andrea, Jocey, Jeff, Joanna, Jillian, and great grandchildren, Wyatt, Emma, Amelia and her namesake, Violet. There are shared memories of Vi as a part of every family excursion throughout her senior years. Vi had a gift of finding everyone she encountered interesting. A shy person she however performed at the piano and took part in many group painting shows at the West Vancouver Senior Centre. A reception will be held in West Vancouver.
