. McLEOD, Beverley Ann (nee Baird) May 20, 1933 – July 23, 2013 We are sad to announce the passing of Beverley Ann McLeod on July 23, 2013 at Evergreen House, North Vancouver, B.C. Beverley was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to George and Mary Baird on May 20, 1933. As a young teen Bev & family moved to Vancouver. Bev attended Crofton House and Lord Byng before graduating from UBC and then to teach at Gladstone (Happy Rock) for some years until marrying Gary and having three wonderful children. In 1971, the family moved to West Vancouver. Bev loved to cook, play piano, raising her three children and in later life sailing, cruising and being a wonderful wife. She touched many people with her sense of humour, outgoing personality and her affection. Bev was predeceased by her parents and brother William (Bill) Baird. She is survived by her loving husband Gary of 54 years, daughter Marcia Hamilton (Rob), daughter Karen McLeod, son Kevin McLeod, grandchildren Justin and Allison, brother Robert Baird, sister-in-law Bev Baird, and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her companion, Candis, for all of her love and attention and the very caring staff of Evergreen House 2N. With special thanks to Lori, Eva, Tracy, Edmund, Radek, Monty, Sandy, Linda, Vinnie, Jennifer, and Keira and the many others whom we may have missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverley's name to the Alzheimer's Society.
