McGEE, Tille (Takla Predyk)
November 9, 1923 - November 29, 2012
With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother. Born in Plain Lake Alberta, Tillie came to Vancouver with our father Nathan Grant McGee (predeceased) and their son Daniel in 1945. Tillie was a fantastic woman, active in her community. She volunteered at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House and participated in both the Vancouver East & Burnaby North NDP riding associations. She expressed her unconditional love for her grandchildren, Anya & Tara, her daughter-in-law, Claudia Ferris and her sons Daniel, Lorne (predeceased) and John. We miss you mom. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation. A Celebration of Tillie's life will take place at 1:30 pm, on Sunday January 13th at Confederation Seniors Centre 4585 Albert Street, Burnaby.

My deepest condolences to Tillie's family. I have meet Danny and heard a lot about John, his wife and girls. Tillie loved you all, so very much. I meet Tillie when I volunteered to drive to Confederation for the lunch programs on Thursday. We became friends and shared a few lunches at Kato's and lots of Gelato ice cream together. I dropped off groceries, if she needed them and helped her with housecleaning, a few times. We also attended the City of Burnaby Christmas parties and had lots of laughs. She was very dear lady who would never say a bad word about her worst enemy. A very giving and caring person, who I am proud to call my friend. Rest in peace dear Tillie. I won't forget you.
