Gordon COOK

COOK, Gordon Leslie
April 2, 1921 - September 17, 2013
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father Gordon at the age of 92. Gordon was predeceased by his beloved wife Doreen in 2002. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his children Bob (Susan), Debbie, Ron (Deb) and Janice; grandsons Jeff and Tony and many nieces, nephews and long-time friends. As a WWII veteran, he served in Europe with the Seaforth Highlanders. Prior to his military service and upon returning, he worked for MacMillan Bloedel Canadian White Pine Division. Retirement allowed Gordon and Doreen the opportunity to go cruising and spend more time with family. At the age of 92, Gordie could still be seen pushing his walker on the PoCo trail. Gordon's favourite saying was "See that smile on your face, that puts a smile on my face". We will always remember your smile, Dad. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
