Jacqueline "Mickey" Church

Jacqueline 'Mickey' Church July 25, 1918 - January 8, 2013 Born in Montague PEI and growing up in Penticton BC, Mickey (nee Beaton) put the 'zest' into living. This energetic, independent, caring, and giving lady lived the full life for ninety-one of her ninety-four years. 'All-in' was her only mode in raising a family, commencing her working career at age 40, and travelling every part of the world. When planning that next trip, her passions were connecting with her countless friends and family, contributing to the community, and tending her flower garden. Predeceased by first husband Stuart Munro in 1970 and second husband Thomas Church in 2003, she is survived by two sons - Jim Munro (Joan) of Campbell River, and Ken Munro (Linda) of Port Coquitlam, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of the Madison Care Centre, Coquitlam. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon.
