DUNCAN, John Richard Lee
December 28, 1922 - November 7, 2012
John left his home of 57 years to join his wife Helen. Lovingly remembered by his children Heather (Gordon), Peter (Lynette) and John; niece Kathie; grandchildren Erin and Brennen and three great-grandchildren. John is survived by his sister Binnie ; four nephews and predeceased by his sister Margaret. John was born in Squamish and came to Pender Harbour in the 1930's. He left to join the Army in World War II; returning to Pender Harbour where his met and married Helen Mackay. John was involved in the fishing industry for most of his working life. Vegetable gardening was his passion and he loved sharing the bounty with friends and neighbours. John will be missed by many. It was John's wish to pass away at home and the family would like to thank everyone who made that possible. At his request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers a donation in John's memory to the Pender Harbour Medical Clinic would be appreciated.
