MCQUEEN, Warren Allan "Mac"
January 2, 1961 - November 2, 2012
It is with profound sadness that we announce Mac's sudden passing after complications with open heart surgery. Mac is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Trish), his daughter Heather and his son Allan from a previous marriage. He is sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his parents Joyce and Allan. As a teen he was proud of his time as a piper in the Seaforth Highlanders Cadet Band. After graduation he pursued several ways of making a living, including driving rigs and operating a trucking firm. Later and after much study and training, Mac gained the position of safety and compliance manager of a large fracking and gas company, achieving a goal he had pursued for some time. This year he was presented with a prestigious award by a former cabinet secretary in the USA for achieving a high standard of safety and for developing enhanced regulations within his firm and the industry. Mac was a knowledgeable open and engaging person and well-liked by those who knew him. There will be no service by request. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
