It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Aristides (Ari) Mellios regrets to announce his sudden passing in his home on Wednesday, January 23. Ari was born in Montreal and moved to Vancouver in his teens. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina, his three children, Costa, Eleni, and Athan, his parents, Konstantine and Eleni, his brothers and their families, Nick (Sarah), Loui (Ayla), Kosta, Ariana, Amara, Aveya, Akay, his in-laws, Athanasios and Stavroula Dourmas, his sisters-in-law and their families, Cathi (Peter) and Mina (Angelo), Jasmena, Marie, Stephanie, Tommy, Stamati and Thanasi and many family members and friends. Both prayer and funeral services will be held at Saint Nicholas and Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4541 Boundary Road, Vancouver, BC. Prayer services will be on Wednesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be on Thursday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m., with a light luncheon to follow the interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Make A Wish Foundation on his behalf. Condolences and tributes may be sent to the family by visiting
