AMSON _ Charles Laurie, born June 4th, 1932, losing his battle with cancer, passed away peacefully December 12, 2005 at the Surrey Hospice with his loving wife at his side. Chuck was predeceased by his parents, brothers Edmond and Bruce, sister Doris Wilson and daughter Ellen Cant. He is survived by Carole Allchin, his best friend and wife of 19 years, brother Alfred, and sister Faye Ruggles both of Ontario, daughter Stephanie Dingwall, sons; Laurie and Arthur, grandchildren; Ruby, Miranda and Troy. Chuck will be sorely missed at home, on the golf course and over the airwaves. At his request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Surrey Hospice would be appreciated.
