I did not know Dr. Cosmas Leung but I am visiting my father in palative care, and while here our daughter became very ill. We saw the lovely painting in honour of him and just wanted to give my love.

To Cosmas' dear entire family. You do not know me at all but I had worked in the Radiology department at St. Paul's Hospital and had the absolute pleasure of working with such a knowledgeable kind soul in the wee hours of the morning on many a busy night. He was simply extraordinary in his calm way of providing care to all his patients in what I would describe as a chaotic environment at best of times. I had learned so much from him in from his demeanour and even complimented to him one evening as I had always admired him. He was so respectful to me even though at the time I was simply an X-ray technologist. I moved on to another department but I had never forgot him ever. Later in November 2009, my friend and now my partner came into St Pauls Emergency department with a heart attack. I reached the Emergency department 30 minutes after my friend had been admitted and was so relieved to see Dr. Cosmas Leung that evening shift as that meant the world to me, absolutely everything! My friend was getting the best care he could ever possibly get and I was comforted by that fact. So tonight I just happened to read his obituary in the Province paper of Dr. Cosmas Leung and I am deeply saddened. Saddened that we lost a great soul, saddened for his family who are experiencing a great loss but for them to know I had a huge and great respect for him. May he rest in peace and may his entire family find comfort that he has touched many people as no doubt he has touched you. RIP Dr. Cosmas Leung. My sincere sympathy to his entire family for your loss of an absolutely amazing man. May a piece of him live in our heart always.
Respectfully,
Teresa (Terry) McCrossan
