DEVLIN, Edward Larry
August 29, 1920 - October 29, 2013
Born and raised in Assiniboia Saskatchewan. At a young age World War II came knocking and Larry and his brothers served their country. Larry returned to Vancouver and completed his degree in agriculture at UBC. Here he met the love of his life while ice skating on Lost Lagoon. Larry and Isobel were married in 1944 and spent 69 years devoted to each other and their family which now stands at 30. He enjoyed a fulfilling career and an even more fulfilling retirement. When life became too difficult, he embraced an opportunity to make it better. Although the outcome was not what we had all hoped for, he was brave, strong and content. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye. He will be forever be in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday Nov 12 at 2pm at the Boal Chapel in North Vancouver.
