ABRAHAMSEN, Einar John (April 7, 2011) Einar was born in Rovde, Norway and in his 75 years led a full life of adventure and romance. At 22, he met the love of his life, Thordis, and knew instantly that she would marry him and have his children. Always working around boats, he traveled the world. Known as Jabr, during his many years at Harken Towing; Einar never completely retired and enjoyed being in his workshop up until the final weeks of his life. Einar is greatly missed by his wife Thordis; his children Tor (Mandy), Ann (John), Roger (Janet) and Ellen (Bernie) who remember him as the best Dad; and his grandchildren Ian (Laura), Gabrielle, Ally, Josie, and Kate. Poppy is now with his beloved grandson Nicco Folino who passed away in 2002. A viewing will be held on April 14 from 4:00 - 4:30 at First Memorial , 14835 Fraser Hwy, Surrey BC. A graveside service will be held at 2:30, April 15 at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 Robinson St. Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
