April 30, 1951 - May 23, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Lynn on May 23, 2015. Lynn was born in Perdue, Saskatchewan but lived most of her life in the lower mainland before retiring to Powell River with her partner Drew in their "dream home." She enjoyed a 37-year career working at Woodward Library at UBC. Lynn was a fun- loving person who found joy in spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever missed by her partner Drew, her daughter Deanna, her granddaughter Jamie, her extended family and many friends. We could never say goodbye; instead we say "love you" until we meet again. No service by request. In lieu of flowers a donation to Crossroads Hospice Society would be greatly appreciated.

I have such fond memories of Lynn. We worked together at Sedgewick Library back in the late 1970s and were friends. She was a wonderful person and a lot of fun. I still have stories that I like to tell of hilarious events that took place while we were together. My condolences to her family.

I feel such sorrow at learning the news of Lynn's death. The hole in all our hearts is immense. I worked with Lyn in the Education Library at UBC and her sense of humor and no nonsense attitude was wonderful! Sincere sympathies to Lynn's family. She will remain a bright spot in my heart.

My sincere condolences to Lynn's family. I am lucky to have worked with Lynn in the UBC Woodward Library for about 30 years or so. I know from all the family pictures she brought in over the years that family meant a lot to her. Yes, she was truly a remarkable woman, and one I was glad to have worked with her.
