It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Papa and Great-Grandpa. Floyd is survived by Dodie, his wife of 72 years; his children; Floyd (Janet), Pam (Bob), Penny (Dave) and Shawn (Ward); eight grandchildren: Chad, Lesa (Dave), Shelley (Wes), Matthew (Debbie), Rodd (Cindy), Kristal (Dana), Shannon (Dean) and Kimberly (Ryan); 10 great-grandchildren: Curtis, Dustin, Jake, Danika, Daniel, Bradley, Wyatt, Cody, Nicholas and Natalie, plus one on the way. Predeceased by his granddaughter Tracey. Floyd was born in Vancouver, BC. He grew up in Steveston. He married Dodie in 1940 and they raised their family in Burnaby. In 1970 they moved to Langley where he spent the remainder of his years. Floyd was a veteran of the Second World War. He worked at General Bakeries, McGavin Toastmaster and the Salvation Army House of Concord from where he retired in 1985. Floyd was a very active member in the Salvation Army. Floyd and Dodie enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii with family and friends. Floyd loved his car and would take Dodie for a drive on a moments notice.
He had a heart of gold and a smile to match!
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
